Gloves For Robots

With the development of the industry, robots dominated everywhere. Some problems were born. In order to solve these problems, solutions were offered by the people working. The most important of these solutions would be to increase the yield of robots.

A group of researchers from Stanford University has produced a solution to this problem; robotic gloves. Chemical engineer Zhenan Bao and his team will increase the precision of robots thanks to their newly developed glove. The researchers placed a three-layer sensor system on the finger-parts of the rubber glove.

After the glove was solidified, it was caught in the hands of the robots. After the completion of the process, the fruit was tested with ping-pong ball and raspberry. It was observed that the robot hand lifted the ping-pong ball up and placed it in a glass without any damage. In the test with raspberries, it was found that the hand contacted the fruit by applying a very sensitive pressure
